Caring for your watch

To ensure top performance of your watch:

* Keep your watch clean with a soft and dry cloth.

* Avoid contact with perfume, spirits or petroleum products, as these can damage seals.

* Ensure that the crown (winder/button), which is used to change the hands and date, is properly pushed in or screwed down at all times. This prevents penetration by water, dust and dirt.

* Avoid abrasions, as scratching can eventually affect the case and bracelet.

* If you are about to undertake heavy physical work, remove your watch beforehand.

* If your watch has a leather strap, do not wear it too tightly fastened or expose it to water. If it does get wet, remove the watch, towel dry then allow it to dry naturally which means not wearing for 2 to 3 hours.

* Avoid subjecting your watch to rapid changes in temperature, for example sunbathing then jumping into a pool or the sea.

* When not being worn, keep your watch in a cool and dry place.

Servicing Requirements

* To ensure a reliable performance, your watch should be serviced at least every 3 years.

* To ensure the water-resistance of your watch, seals must be checked every 18 months. If you swim often, the watch should be must be checked and resealed annually.

* Knocks, dents and chipping to the glass and sudden extreme in temperatures, may affect the water resistancy of the watch.
