Breitling

Breitling is a family-owned watch company that got its start in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland. In 1884, Léon Breitling opened a shop specializing in precision timepieces for scientific and industrial purposes. The company has a long relationship with aviation.
Some recent highlights of Breitling’s watch history include the invention of the self-winding chronograph movement in cooperation with Büren and Heuer-Leonidas. In 1969, Scott Carpenter wore a Breitling Cosmonaute during his orbit around the Earth in the Aurora 7.
